My recent work incorporates embossing techniques that explore ornate imagery. This imagery holds reference to something 'old worldly' and is allusive to time or date. The filigree and floral patterns are combined with simple forms, asymmetrical detail or an element of the unexpected.

I am also intrigued by the limitless possibilities of colour and its application in the creation of small wearable objects. I love the pure whiteness of silver against lush vibrant red, or the warmth of rich yellow gold with opaques. Integrating the use of acrylic materials, with the strength, beauty and preciousness of gold and silver.

Each piece is made with careful consideration and stems from a love of the materials and a passion for making.
