Dan
Scurry graduated in Gold and Silversmithing from RMIT in 1978.
He has held solo exhibitions since 1985 and been selected for
numerous group exhibitions. His practice has encompassed large
scale hammered metal works, assemlage and inventive re-working
of found objects.
Dan
searches amongst discarded treasures of the past to reclaim his
materials. Transforming items such as plastic knitting needles
into self organised arrangements of colour, form and function
giving them value and beauty. |
