A quick line drawing manifests as an enamelled vessel, is it a bowl? No. It’s a brooch! A wearable bowl. Using these small vessel forms, I conjure a white space which is inhabited by colour and light, it fills the interior with a subtle glow of light. There is a softness of form which conveys human subtleties and variations, inviting personal interaction. Reminiscent of the personal relationships formed with everyday household objects. My jewels and holloware are three-dimensional line drawings made with little bowls full of holes, with fluorescent punctuation!
