| Shibori Range
Combining non-precious, coloured and contrasting materials is a starting point for my work, allowing me to challenge traditional notions of preciousness in jewellery, and to employ an innovative and problem solving approach to its construction.
Referencing my love of fabrics and family history of working with textiles, this range features prints from Japanese resist-dyed or Shibori fabrics and uses the technique of sublimation printing combined with layers of sterling silver to bring them into a new context.
The strong black and white aesthetic also aims to create a dialogue with my earlier signature work, the O-range, with its black rubber o-rings and silver surrounds.
