Nicky has taught, travelled, worked and laughed a lot while pursuing the making of contemporary objects and jewellery. Her work moves between simplicity of form, and a humourous commentary on life.

In a field where great value is placed on small objects, her work shifts the emphasis away from gold and appreciates elements of equally rare beauty such as wood, shell and sea shaped stones. Nicky’s practice is currently focused on investigating the natural environment.
