Sophia Emmett is a glass artist who has widely exhibited her hand blown glass objects within Australia. Making on a jewellery scale has given Sophia the opportunity to focus on the proportion, scale and the relationship between different materials. Each pendant is blown, cut and polished glass.

Sophia has collaborated with Melbourne jeweller Jane Ruljancich to make the stainless steel and silver neckpiece to house her hand blown glass pendants. Combining the two elements Sophia achieves a simple, strong and wearable object.
