Studio Ingot enjoys the process of designing and making a unique piece of jewellery to celebrate a commitment or to commemorate an important occasion. Commissions are a special way to interact with an artisan to produce a custom made item.

Design inspiration may start with the slightest hint of an idea. A lyric from a favourite song, a favourite colour, have been beginnings for special designs.

We are happy to design a piece with your ideas but we will not copy an item made by another artist. We respect the integrity of other designers and will only work with a design we can engage with.

If you would like to meet with an artist to discuss a custom made order please call to make an appointment. There is no additional design fee and special orders are not more expensive to create.

An order will take approximately four to six weeks from confirmation of all design details and initial deposit. Allowances can be made to meet tight deadlines. Please let us know your important dates, so we can achieve them for you.

We require a 50% deposit to begin an order and the remainder may be paid in increments before the order is collected. Direct Payment Form

We have a large collection of special and unusual gem stones. Weird and wonderful, the collection contains many gems you may never have uncovered. Many of our clients have found a gem waiting for them that they had never envisaged. If we don’t have what you want, perhaps a different size, colour or shape is needed we will search all over Australia to find it for you.

We are happy to help you with a surprise gift. If a ring presented doesn’t fit we will happily exchange it for a newly made version if notified within seven days of purchase. (charges for extra metal may apply)

Many rings cannot be resized, for this reason we ask you to carefully select the finger size to be suitable for all temperatures. Usually in summer fingers are larger and smaller in the winter. We are happy to provide trial rings to be worn for a week prior to ordering to help you gauge the perfect size. (a refundable deposit is requested when taking a sample)

Our lay-by is two months from the date of commencement. A 50% deposit is required and incremental payments are required over the two months. The deposit is non-refundable on cancellation of a lay-by.
