Variations in line and form in nature are a result of mutations and evolution, resulting in seductive shapes and textures. Each with its own fingerprint and balance without symmetry. Michael's Mokume series translates texture into pattern in Mokume Gane imposing some control while still relying on chance.

Michael enjoys working in combinations of metals to bring up contrasts in materials, while avoicing symmetry to produce a very wearable piece of jewellery.
