Brendan Adair-Smith

Frequently inspired and obsessed by notions of flight; Brendan's work often references primitive aerial contraptions. Exploring observations on inspiration and invention, and parallels between leaps of faith and the evolution of the artistic process.

Brendan produces both one-off jewellery pieces and larger scale exhibition work and has exhibited as both a solo exhibitor and in multiple group shows. Brendan is a past-winner of first and second prizes of the Contemporary Wearable’s Biennial Jewellery Award & Exhibition. While his work has been acquired by Toowoomba Regional Art Gallery in 2001, 2007, 2009 and 2011.
